Hal-low (noun) - Old English, meaning a saint or holy person
My friend Willy recorded me playing these songs in his basement. We recorded Joyce at the end of the summer in 2014 and recorded this version of Sunset in the summer of 2015. He also provided back up vocals, keys, drums, and all of the computer wizardry I'm too impatient to understand.
I've known Willy for less than two years but in that time he has become the closest friend I have and my most trusted confidant. He's the kind of guy who will follow through on everything, and I admire and respect him immensely for his honesty and courage. He's been there for me time and again without fail, especially when I didn't deserve it, which I think is the mark of a truly great person.
He is the big brother I never had and always wanted.
Happy Birthday Willy.
